DAY 100 OF 100 DAYS IN PARADISE!!!!!!

OUR LAST NIGHT HERE.
My last night to fall asleep to the sound
of the waves crashing to shore.
It will be the last morning I awaken to the
sun as it  appears over the blue of the ocean.

This has by far been my favorite place to live
in all my 54 years.

I do however look forward to our new place.
Our water view will be the Intercoastal
Waterway.  And we are trading the SUNRISE
for the SUNSET.
I am told that all size boats and ships will come
right by our balcony.  I am told that the Sunsets
are breath taking.

PRAISING GOD for our next adventure.

May HIS GRACE continue to carry us through
each and every day and night of this UNEXPECTED
JOURNEY.
Now in Day 2,284.

Proverbs 16:1
People may make plans in their minds,
but only the Lord can make them come
true.

DAY 99 OF 100 DAYS IN PARADISE - EXHAUSTION

PURE EXHAUSTION is the only way to
describe the way I feel.
Packing and Moving and Unpacking.

BUT Praising GOD that my side has only
hurt one time the entire day!  TO GOD BE
THE GLORY!  MY HEALER!!!

I will say Good Night for my body needs
rest.  Trammell is going to care for David
until 3:00am then I will take over.
Another busier than usual day tomorrow.
Please Keep us in your Prayers.

DAY 98 OF 100 DAYS IN PARADISE - Packing and Stacking AGAIN

Trammell and I packed MORE boxes today.
We are going to try and move the rest of our
things over to the condo tomorrow.
We have our nurse coming over to care for
David from 10 until 2.  As usual we will be in
a mad dash to get EVERYTHING done in 4 hours.
We will take a van full over and unload it.  Then run
to pick up some twin size sheets for each of us.
Then run to Sams Club and pick up our order,
then run it back to the new place and put it
up.  By that time our four hours will be up.

I am sitting here writing this blog as I watch
David on the monitor.  He had such a big
lunch today that for dinner tonight I only
fixed chicken soup, crackers, a PB&J with
a side of pretzel sticks and ice tea.
He is doing OK feeding himself tonight
BUT he just reached over and instead of
his crackers, he took a hand full of pretzel
sticks and dumped them over into his bowl
of chicken soup.  Now that's not going
to be easy to eat with a spoon. LOL

I am still not feeling well.  Still having pain
but not as much today. To God Be The Glory.
Still light headed and racing heart.
Plus I have had the worst headache all day.
I guess from the high BP and running
so much as usual.

Two more days until MOVE-IN Day!

Thank You for ALL Your continued PRAYERS!
You will never know how much that means to us.

DAY 97 OF 100 DAYS IN PARADISE - A HEALING LIVER

SO
I went to the doctor today.
My numbers are almost back to normal
AGAIN.
BUT my blood pressure was really high
and he is concerned about all of the heart
palpitations I've been having daily.
I believe after I get us moved it will
calm down and the BP will drop back
down to normal.  My concern is the pain
I am still having in my right side.
I have to back on April 9th for a
check-up and then go back again
a week later.

NOW
Talking about the MOVE,  we have
2 mattresses. THAT'S IT.
We have 3 days before we move in
to our new place.  I am worn out
trying to pack, move, care for David,
fight this cold, and find furniture.
I really don't know what I would do
without Trammell.
Please Keep us in your Prayers.

As I sit here writing this I am looking
across the ocean at the most magnificent
full moon.

Thanking God for Every Day and Every Blessing.

Psalm 37:24
Though they stumble, they will never fall,
for the Lord holds them by the hand.

DAY 96 OF 100 DAYS IN PARADISE - EVERY DAY Is A Blessing

EVERY SINGLE DAY that we are given on this
earth is a BLESSING.
The GREAT Days.
The GOOD Days.
The JUST GET THROUGH IT Days.
The BAD Days.
The REALLY BAD Days.
The BAD HAIR Days, Ladies.
AND yes, even The
"THIS IS THE WORST DAY OF MY LIFE" Days.

Everyday, no matter how it starts, no matter how it ends,
no matter how young or how old we are,
is a wonderful 24 hour gift from GOD.

I PRAISE HIM AND GIVE HIM ALL THE GLORY
FOR EVERY ONE OF MY 19,899 DAYS ON THIS EARTH.
YES, even the last 2,280 days and nights my family has
spent living this nightmare.
Yes, EVEN THOSE.

It's ALL God's Plan
SO turn loose and let HIM control it ALL.

PRAISE HIM for  "EVERY"  DAY.

1 Thessalonians 5:18
Give thanks in all circumstances; for this is the
will of God in Christ Jesus for you.

DAY 95 OF 100 DAYS IN PARADISE - A Cold Rainy Sunday

Today has been a bed day.
Just up and down taking care of David.

My side (my liver) has hurt all day long.
AND
Every time I talk, I cough.
Trammell will tell you that just may be
a good thing. LOL
I'm not saying much because when I do
I start coughing and then my side hurts more.

SO looking forward to watching THE BIBLE
on the History Channel tonight at 8:00.
Trammell and I haven't missed a week.
Now THAT'S Good TV!

This time next week we should be in our new
condo.  Trammell and I have a LOT to get
done this week.
With both of us still sick with this cold or
flu or what ever it is.  It's knocking us down
and kicking us around.
Plus me being in such pain with my liver,
this is not going to be a fun week.
It's going to be a
"Let's Just Get Through This"
kind of week.
We Really Need Your Prayers!

Isaiah 40:31
But those who hope in the Lord
will renew their strength.  They
will soar on wings like eagles;
they will run and not grow weary,
they will walk and not be faint.

DAY 94 OF 100 DAYS OF PARADISE - A MURPHY'S LAW Day

Oh has this been one of  THOSE days.
A Murphy's Law Day and then some.
I am too tired to even write about it.

The One thing that got me through it
and continues to get me through day
after day of this SIX year, THREE month
nightmare is Our LORD JESUS CHRIST.

No matter what satan throws at me I know
             GOD'S GOT THIS!

Trammell and I did manage to get a lot of
boxes packed today.  I'll be SO glad to get
this done.
Oh how I wish the closing on our house had
happened months ago when it was supposed
to.  Oh how I wish we had been able to go
ahead and buy a home like we had planned.
Oh how I wish we weren't having to move into
yet another rental.
BUT our plans are not always GOD'S Plans
and GOD'S Plans Are Always Best.

Please Keep Us In Your Prayers.

Proverbs 16:1
People may make plans in their minds, but
only the Lord can make them come true.

DAY 93 OF 100 DAYS IN PARADISE - GOD'S GOT THIS!

No matter what it is GOD'S got it ALL under control.

Every time we are in need of anything God's takes
care of it.
How many times have I wasted time spinning my wheels
when HE took care of ALL our needs.

There I was stressing over the search for a place to live
when the call came to me.
Not only that but the wonderful retired couple
who owns the condo is such a Blessing.  They have already
let us know that they will be happy to come over and baby
sit David any time we get in a bind and need a sitter.
They even let us pick the day we want to pay our rent each
month.
TO GOD BE THE GLORY!

There I was stressed about finding a nurse for David when
all I had to do was mention it to the girls at the front desk
here at Bay Watch and the next day I got a call from the
Mom of one of the girls.
She used to work for the disability board Plus she is well
known and loved by many of the staff here at Bay Watch.
This has allowed Trammell and me to leave  yesterday and
today getting things moved into the condo and getting things
like mattresses and looking for things we need for our move.
She's coming back Monday so we can take another load over
and go to the Goodwill in Little River to look for furniture.

TO GOD BE THE GLORY!

Please keep us in your Prayers.  I know I have been over
doing it this week.  I am in pain tonight in the area of my
liver but I do not dare take anything for it.  Like I've
mentioned before, anything for pain is terrible for the liver.

Isaiah 65:24
I will answer them before they even call to me.
While they are still talking about their needs,
I will go ahead and answer their Prayers.

DAY 92 OF 100 DAYS IN PARADISE - David's Birthday

On Easter Sunday David will turn 56,
although he has no idea how old he really is.
On his birthday each year we ask him how
old he is.  One year he held up 4 fingers. One
year he said he was 5.  I think last year he said
he was 9.
We could ask him his age every hour of every day
and he would give us a different answer each time.

He doesn't have any idea what year it is.  Most
times when we ask him he thinks it's the 70's.

Each year I buy or bake him a birthday cake.
Trammell and I blow up balloons and hang a birthday
banner in the bedroom for him to see.  We give him 2
or 3 gifts to unwrap. Preschool toys, a new sock
monkey and a new night shirt.
He always seems to like them.
His eyes really light up when we bring in his
cake and ice cream.

Each year I ask friends and family to PLEASE if
they could, Please mail him a Birthday Card.  He
really seems to love opening the cards and having
me read them to him and then I set them on his
tray.  He holds them and looks them for days.

The sad truth is he only receives 2 of 3 each year.
I know everyone is really busy these days
BUT once again I am begging for everyone to
PLEASE if you can, would you send David a
Birthday Card or if your child would like to
draw him a Birthday picture it would mean the world
to me and I know it would bring such joy to David.

DAY 91 OF 100 DAYS IN PARADISE - Another Sick Day

Between the hepatitis and this cold I need a
Sick Day.
I've packed a few boxes and with Trammell's
help we are taking good care of David
BUT the rest of the time I am crashing
Poor Trammell is STILL sick too.

We are watching our favorite channel on TV as
we recuperate,  "HGTV".

Time for some nice warm chicken soup on the
cold Sick Day.

Please continue to keep us in your Prayers.

cheer, these limitations that cut me down to

DAY 90 OF 100 DAYS IN PARADISE - I HAVE HEPATITIS!?!

SO
I went to a new doctor this morning.
I then waited TWO HOURS to see the
doctor.
He says I have
CHEMICALLY INDUCED HEPATITIS?

The chemicals being the yellow root and all
the vitamins that I have now been off of since
February 18th.

He did not give me anything to take for it.
In fact he took me off my hormone Rx.
(Really not looking forward to that. Can
I tell you how much I hate Hot Flashes)

The only thing he wants me taking is my
Thyroid Rx.  No vitamins. Nothing that
could effect my liver.

I have to go back next week for more blood
work.
I also have to move us into the new condo
next week.
It's unfurnished and all of our
things are in storage in the Upstate.

A very dear friend of ours is going to
bring David's hospital bed down next week.
We are SO Thankful for that.

I'm going to hit the Goodwill and Salvation Army
stores this week and next to see what I
can find.  Any other time that would be like
going to Disney World for me BUT not feeling
this bad and not being in such pain.  Un-Fun

Please, we humbly ask that you all continue to Pray for us.

I Corinthians 16:13,14
Be on guard.  Stand firm in the faith.
Be courageous.  Be strong.  And do
everything with love.

DAY 89 OF 100 DAYS IN PARADISE - The Struggle To Get Help

When I took David to the doctor the first part of February
I left a form for there to be filled out and signed so that we
could try and get a $500 voucher for about 25 hours of
nursing care for David from the Waccamaw Regional
Family Caregivers Group.
We have been OK'ed for the hours BUT we can't receive
them until they get the form from the doctor's office.

I have been on the phone with the doctor's office two
times a day for over a week and each time I am told
that the papers are on the doctor's desk and he will
sign them and they will fax them tomorrow.

Well TOMORROW seems to never come.
They know how important these hours are to us
and that right now we are out of hours.  That leaves
us having to pay the $20.00 an hour for week days
or $25.00 an hour for weekends.

I even called David's doctor in the Upstate to see
if they would sign the paper. They said yes
BUT they still haven't done so as far as I know.
I'll be calling Waccamaw RFCG in the morning
to see if either doctor has signed the papers.
It has become one of my daily routines.

We still haven't found a private nurse down here to
hire when we need to leave the house so we have no
choice but to use the Nursing Agency.

Please Pray that we will find one soon.  If you know
of a reliable sitter in the North Myrtle Beach area
who will work for $10 an hour PLEASE let me know.

Galatians 6:9
And let us not grow weary of doing good
for in due season we will reap, if we do
not give up.

DAY 88 OF 100 DAYS IN PARADISE - A Tranquil Setting

Again God has lead us to a wonderful
place to live.

I had gotten nothing but confused and
frustrated after calling about place after
place.
We were running into the same old problem.
We need a place that will allow us to have
Chocolate, our 13 year old Persian cat who
is a part of our family.
Plus,
We have to have first floor with no steps,
Or  an elevator if it's on a higher floor.

WELL,
We got a Miracle call.
One of the lady's who works here in the
office at Bay Watch gave me the name
and number of a real estate lady she
knows.  I called her to tell her what we
needed.  She doesn't deal in rentals BUT
she has some friends who own a condo
about a mile up the road.
I got a call yesterday from the sweet, retired
couple, who told me that a friend had
called them to tell them about us and that
they would like for us to look at their
condo.
We would be allowed to have our cat.
PLUS
Even though it's on the forth floor
there is an elevator.

SO
I met the wife, Mary, at the condo today.
It's the most tranquil and beautiful place
AND
The best part is it's right on the Intracoastal
Waterway with a huge screened-in balcony.

Another Great thing is they are going to let
me start moving things in next week.  That
way I can take my time and have everything
set up before I move David and Trammell in.

WHAT A BLESSING!
WHAT AN AWESOME GOD WE SERVE!

Again,
there was nothing to worry or wonder about.
GOD had it ALL under control.
HE Always Does.

Isaiah 65:24
I will answer them before they even call to me.
While they are still talking about their needs,
I will go ahead and answer their prayers.

DAY 87 OF 100 DAYS IN PARADISE - Milk Thistle?

I had never heard of "Milk Thistle" before
my liver problems.
Trammell discovered it while researching
things that would help after I received
the liver failure diagnosis.
It was no time at all when I had my numbers
back to where they were supposed to be.
My liver was well on it's way to being healed.
We PRAISE GOD and give HIM ALL the
GLORY!

I began taking less of the Milk Thistle.  Partly
because my doctor told me to stop taking
it because she didn't know anything about it
plus she doesn't believe in taking vitamins.
She said maybe just a multivitamin would
be OK.

SO
I cut down to one a day.  At that time I began
experiencing some pain in my liver and then in
both my kidneys again.
I called the doctor to ask about it.
They called back and told me they wanted me
to see another doctor they have there in the
same building.
My appointment is Tuesday at 10:00.

In the mean time I thought maybe I should stop
taking the Milk Thistle all together until my
appointment just in case it was masking something
that's going on in my liver.
I haven't taken any since Wednesday and by
last night I was really hurting and today I feel
 really bad,
SO I have started back taking the MILK THISTLE.

I don't know what's in it but I can tell you what ever
it is IT WORKS!

Please keep us in your PRAYERS.
Please Pray for Healing.

Matthew 21:22
And all things, whatsoever ye shall ask in Prayer,
believing, ye shall receive.

DAY 86 OF 100 DAYS IN PARADISE - PRAISING GOD FOR MIRACLES

As of this very minute it looks like our house
is SOLD!
PRAISING GOD.
PRAYING that everything goes well next week
and we will have a closing date before long.

ALSO
We thought we were out of nursing hours for David.
It turned out that there was a miscalculation.
The lady from RestCare HomeCare emailed me
letting me know we still had 4&1/2 hours left.
The thing was we had to use them today or lose them.
The deadline was 03/15/13.
Well, as fate would have it, Trammell just happened
to be looking on line at a place he has wanted to go
since he was 7 years old but it was just too expensive.
It's a place called Medieval Times.
It just so happened that they were have a "Spring Break
Special"  Buy One Get One Free Tickets!!  AND they
were having a rare 11:30 Matinee TODAY!
He was SO excited when I agreed that it was the perfect
chance for us to go.
We called and made our reservations.  We were told to
be there at 10:30am which worked great because we had
the nurse scheduled for 10:00am.

Well,
9:40am, we are dressed and waiting for the nurse when
I get an email from RestCare telling me that the nurse
they had scheduled had called in sick.
NO!

You guys have NO IDEA how many times this has
happened to us during the last six years. AND it's
ALWAYS when we have an appointment.
It's SO Stressful.

They found a replacement nurse and she was here by
10:35.
We made it to Medieval Times by 11:15.
Just as they were allowing everyone to go to their seats.
The place was PACKED!  7 bus loads of school kids!
Can you say "LOAD"!   LOL

We had a BLAST!

Trammell kept saying,
"I CAN'T BELIEVE WE ARE HERE!
After All The Years I've Dreamed Of This!"

That's not the end of this day filled with
MIRACLES!

After we left Medieval Times we headed
to Jean and Tom's house in Conway.  Our
dear friends who take up diapers, pads and
gloves for us. They had enough of each
to do us for weeks.

What a Wonderful Day filled with
BLESSING and MIRACLES.

Ephesians 3:20
Now all glory to GOD, Who is able, through
his mighty power at work within us, to
accomplish infinitely more than we might
ask or think.

DAY 85 OF 100 DAYS IN PARADISE - Don't Worry, Be Busy

"Stop thinking about my worries and
just PACK.
         GOD'S GOT THIS"
That's what Trammell keeps saying
to me.
AND that's what I am trying very
hard to do.

The staying busy part I can handle.
It's the worry part I have a hard time
with.
Even though I know in my heart that
GOD ALREADY HAS IT ALL
WORKED OUT.
HE ALREADY KNOWS WHO WILL
BUY OUR HOUSE.
HE ALREADY KNOWS WHERE WE
WILL BE LIVING THIS TIME NEXT
MONTH.

SO
why am I wasting my time wondering
and worrying about it?

It's a little game the devil likes to play
with our minds.
It's called "doubt".
It can creep up any where, any time.
BUT
we must be ready to protect ourselves
with the armor God has given us.
This armor is TRUST.

I TRUST that my LORD is taking
care of everything.  I know I don't
have a care in the world because it's
         ALL IN HIS HANDS.

Psalm 62:8
...TRUST in Him at ALL times.  Pour
out your heart to HIM, for GOD is
our Refuge.

THANK YOU JESUS!

DAY 84 OF 100 DAYS IN PARADISE - PRAYING For Relief

What a Day!
The pain in my liver has worsened.
So has the pain in my left arm I have
had ever since the girl took my blood
in the ER when I was diagnosed in
mid-February.  Not to mention my
toenails are turning black.  WHAT
is up with THAT?
I called the Doctor.  They called back
to tell me they want another doctor to
take a look at me.  I have an appointment
next Tuesday at 10:00.

I spent hours today, between taking care
of David and poor Trammell, who is SO
sick,  trying to find forms I had filled out
for the Waccamaw Family Caregiver's
Advocate so that we can get some help
for David.  I cannot find the papers
anywhere!  I remember filling them out
and taking them to the doctor's office
when I took David the first part of February.
The doctor was supposed to sign them and fill
their part out but that's the last time I remember
having them.  I called the doctor's office
and asked them to fax the forms, if they have
them, to the lady working on our case BUT
so far nothing.  Looks like this may be a
Do Over.

We still have no answer on the sale of our
house.  The people who have cash want to
buy it for well below it's value. Way Below what
we paid for it in the year 2000.  And the couple
who wants it for a halfway decent price, what
we paid in 2000, can't get a loan.
This part of our six year nightmare is
REALLY getting to us.
We are STILL stuck in Nightmare-Limbo until this
house is sold.
In the mean time we STILL have no idea
where we will be living in 24 days.
If the house is not sold in the next few days
we may end up having to move BACK into
it and go through having to do all the
repairs myself.  No telling how long
that will take.

Continuing to Hand It ALL Over To Our
Lord Jesus Christ.
It's HIS PLAN and HIS PLAN is ALWAYS
BEST.

Jeremiah 29:11
For I know the plans I have for you,
declares the Lord, plans to prosper
you and not to harm you, plans to
give you hope and a future.

DAY 83 OF 100 DAYS IN PARADISE - Sock Monkeys

David loves his sock monkeys.
As a matter of fact it is rare for him NOT to
be holding or hugging at least one of them
24 hours a day.
Even when he is eating  he has his favorite
one beside him or on sitting his tummy under his bib.

David's birthday is on Easter this year.
He turns 56 BUT he has no idea he's that old.
If you ask him his age he may hold up 3 or 4 fingers
or he may say he is 27 or 35.
It's different every time.
It's so sad that he has no idea.
Even if we tell him his true age,
in ten minutes he'll have no memory of it.

Today after breakfast he played with his toys,
while drinking from his baby bottle as he
hugged his two favorite sock monkeys.
One under each arm.
He got so excited when I gave him a lollipop.

David was so cute as he handed me his milk
and said, "Can you make it a different color?"
"A different color?"  I asked.
"Yes", He said in a shy sweet voice.
"The color of chocolate."

You should have seen his face when I walked
back in with a big cup CHOCOLATE MILK.
He was indeed a happy boy.

Yes, God took my husband on CHRISTmas Morning 2006
BUT
HE gave me the Sweetest six foot Baby Boy.

1 Corinthians 16:13,14
Be on guard. Stand firm in the faith.
Be courageous. Be strong.
And do everything with love.

DAY 82 OF 100 DAYS IN PARADISE - Our Last Three Hours

We used our last three hours of nursing care
for David today.  We will have to now wait
until we can get another voucher from the
Alzheimer's Association or the SC Respite
Coalition.
                            SO
We are in search of someone in the North
Myrtle Beach area whom we can trust to
care for David for 2 or 3 hours a week
for $10 an hour so that Trammell and I
will be able to go to Church once or twice
a month, go to doctor's appointments and
things like that.

If you know of anyone Please leave me a
comment and I'll email you.

We are holding our breath.  We have not
heard anything from the investors who
looked at our house.  We are at their
mercy.
Praying we will hear good news.
We have no idea what our next step will
be until we hear something.

IT IS ALL IN GOD'S HANDS.

Luke 16:9
I tell you, use worldly wealth to
gain friends for yourselves, so
that when it is gone, you will be
welcomed into eternal dwellings.

DAY 81 OF 100 DAYS IN PARADISE - What A Blessing!

What a Blessing it was for Trammell and me
to be able to attend Church this morning.
Barefoot Church is a Wonderful place to
feel the PRESENCE OF GOD.  The Sermon
today was just as AWESOME as the last
time we were able to go.

PRAISING GOD FOR HIS BLESSINGS!

Please be in Prayer as we have investors
looking at our house in Greenville this
afternoon.  They will determine how much
damage was done and then make us an offer
to purchase the house.  We are Praying that
they will think with their hearts and not
their wallets.
Handing It All Over To GOD.

Matthew 5:7
Blessed are the merciful, for they
shall obtain mercy.

DAY 80 OF 100 DAYS IN PARADISE - A Home Church

I am feeling weaker today and still having
some pain. Having a problem with my BP
dropping really low too.
I want so badly to get back to my old self.
I want to get back to taking care of my boys
and give Trammell a break.

Trammell and I are excited because we have
a nurse coming in the morning.
We get to go to Church!
The wonderful people at Barefoot Church
have been so good to us.  Twice they have
brought groceries to us during the past two
weeks.  They are Praying for us and calling to
check on us.  We have found our New "Home
Church" here on the coast.

Trammell and I still believe, with all of our
hearts, that God has a Plan for everything
we are going through.  That people will continue
to be helped. That lives will continue to be changed.
That hearts will continue to be lead to CHRIST
because of what we are enduring.

To Our Lord Jesus Christ Be ALL The GLORY.

I Peter 2:21-22
For God called you to do good, even if it
means suffering, just as CHRIST suffered
for you.  He is your example, and you must
follow in his steps.  He never sinned, nor
ever deceived anyone.

DAY 78 OF 100 DAYS IN PARADISE - In Search Of A Place To Call Home

In my search for a place for my family to live,
as we have to be out of here by April 7th,
I have run into the same problem I did as
I searched last year.
Every ad I see has those two words that pet
owners hate to see.
NO PETS!

Chocolate, our Persian Cat, has been a part
of our family for 13 years.  In fact she is more
like a "family member" than a pet.

She and Trammell have literally grown up
together.

We have always jokingly said that Chocolate
is Trammell's baby sister or as close to one
as he would ever get.

As we continue our search for a place
to lease here on the coast we Pray that
God will lead us to where He wants us
to be just as He lead us to this amazing
place.

One real estate lady I spoke with today gave
me this advice when I told her that we were
turning it all over to The Lord for He Already
has a place picked out for us.

She said that we should write down our
desires and then Pray over them.
What a Blessin, Not only to have her
share her Faith with me but to give me
that wonderful advice.  Trammell and I will
begin adding that to our daily Bible Study
and Prayer Time.

Continuing to place it ALL In HIS Hands.

Isaiah 65:24
I will answer them before they even call to
me.  While they are still talking about their
needs, I will go ahead and answer their Prayers.

DAY 77 OF 100 DAYS IN PARADISE - Pancakes

Some of you may already know what an awesome
cook Trammell is.
He takes that after David, not me.

He started cooking when he was around ten
years old.
Now I'm not talking about "Kid" cooking.
I'm talking about Gourmet delights.

From the time he was four years old, while most
kids were watching cartoons, he was watching
Food Network.  As a matter of fact that's what
he fell asleep watching every night.

His childhood hero's were people like Chef Emeril
Lagasse, Chef Gordon Ramsay, Chef Bobby Flay
and his favorite Chef Alton Brown.  There are more,
I just can't remember there names right off the top
of my head.

The point is he is now 19, never been formally trained
but is a fantastic cook!  He creates magic in the kitchen!
In fact he made for us this morning the best tasting
pancakes I have ever eaten.  I have never been able
to get my pancakes to taste as good as his.

He cooks just about every meal we have, And it's
ALL good!

Most kids grow up to say they wish they could
cook like their Mom.  Well, this Mom is here to
say,  "I wish I could cook as GREAT at my son."

I Peter 4:10
Each of you should use whatever gift you have
received to serve others, as faithful stewards
of God's grace in it's various forms.

DAY 76 OF 100 DAYS IN PARADISE - God's Plan Is Always Best

Our Lord has Blessed us with a way
to remain here at the beach!

A burden has been lifted.

I am also feeling better today.
Still tiring very easily but I
know without a doubt God
has healed me.

We now have 32 days to find
a place to lease, long term, here
on the coast.  PRAISING GOD!

Please continue to Pray for our
family.
We continue to ask
Our Lord Jesus Christ to control
every aspect of our lives.
We know that HIS Plan is always
Best.

Psalm 119:105
Your word is a lamp to my feet,
and a light to my path.

DAY 75 OF 100 DAYS IN PARADISE - My Lord Is My Healer

PRAISING GOD!!
My numbers are back to normal!
My liver is healing much faster than
I was told it would.
That's the
 HEALING POWER OF GOD!

Still feeling really tired BUT
believe by this time next week
I'll be back to my old workaholic
self.

I am Praising God because I know
without HIM I would never be able
to do all that I have to do.

I would never have been healed this
fast without the Power Of Our Lord
Jesus Christ.

Philippians 4:13
I can do all things through CHRIST
who Strengthens me.

DAY 74 OF 100 DAYS IN PARADISE - Extra Days

We will be staying in Paradise for 7 extra days.

My family will be bringing our Mom
and Dad's ashes down on their motorcycle.
Giving them one last ride to Surfside Beach
to place their ashes in the Ocean.

We will now be here until April 7th
which is a Blessing because I am now
finding out that it will take many more
weeks for my liver to heal.

SO that gives me 34 days to get well,
get us packed, load our van and a U-Haul
AND be able to drive the five and a half
hours to the Upstate with Trammell, David
and our cat, Chocolate.

I can't tell you how much I am dreading all
of this.

Never did we ever dream that we would
have to move BACK to the Upstate AGAIN.
We really thought we were on the coast for
good this time.  There must be a reason
God wants us to return.

We just knew for sure we would have had the
closing on our house before the end of December
BUT here it is March and STILL no closing.
Not even a closing date.

The couple who wanted to purchase it has still
not been able to get a loan in five months so
we have got to find another buyer.

If you know anyone looking for a great
deal on a Fixer-Upper at the foot of
Paris Mountain in Greenville, SC.
It's a three story home built in 1993,
with a rocking chair front porch.
It was in perfect condition until our
nightmare began BUT sadly others
have not taken care of it like we did.
It needs repairs and upgrades.
It was once our beautiful dream home.
We didn't want to leave but there was
no way I could get David or Trammell
up and down the stairs any longer.

I know it can be someones dream home
once again.

We can't move on with our lives until the
house is sold.

Please help us Pray that it will sale very soon.

Ephesians 3:20
Now all glory to God, who is able,
through his mighty power at work
within us, to accomplish infinitely
more than we might ask or think.

DAY 73 OF 100 DAYS IN PARADISE - Still Needing Prayer

I am feeling worse today.
So Weak.
I'm told the only thing I can
do is rest, and eat only foods
that are good for my liver.

That's what I have been doing
for weeks now.
I just want to get better.

Please continue To Pray For Us.

I Thessalonians 5:17
Pray without ceasing.

DAY 72 OF 100 DAYS IN PARADISE - Asking For Prayer

Yet another day in bed.
I am SO tired of this.
The up side is that I am getting tons
of paperwork and computer work done.

David and Trammell are suffering.
David doesn't have "Mommy" doting
over him day and night.
Poor Trammell is on his feet way
too much, working day and night
to take care of David, me and the
house.
He is in so much pain and so tired.

Tonight I am feeling really bad and in
more pain than I have had in 3 days.

Our moving date will be here before
we know it and I have to get us packed
to move but there is no way I can do
so until I get well.

PLEASE
could you all lift us up in Prayer.

Psalm 55:17
Evening and morning and noon
I will Pray, and cry aloud, and
He shall hear my voice.
