LIVING UNDER HOUSE ARREST

WHAT A WEEK!

It's So Exciting To Watch God At Work!

I'll tell ya, If you know any unbelievers just have them
watch our life.  There is NO denying that GOD is in
control.

Sunday - Nov. 3rd, 8:30am, Trammell and I left for the
Upstate as our nurse, Betty, took over caring for David.
We had the most wonderful drive up.  Trammell had
brought along his James Taylor CHRISTmas CD which
played over and over during the entire 5 hour drive
(until we reached the Greenville area and I switched
 over to HIS RADIO).
And YES I sang THE ENTIRE WAY.
POOR Trammell.

We went by Geneva's house, dropped of some
things for her family then went to the hotel to
check in having only a few minutes to run and
throw our suitcases in the room then take off
to meet the builder at our home we'd sold him
in June of this year when it was destroyed
beyond our ability to repair.
He has done an unbelievable job on the house.
It made Trammell and me so homesick as we
walked through it.
We had had to leave it when Trammell and David
both were in wheelchairs because it's 3 stories.

It was our dream home BUT GOD has taught us
that our only TRUE "Dream Home" is waiting
for us in Heaven.  And we'll Never have to give
it up.

After that we spent a Wonderful evening at Fatz
with my family.  It was SO Awesome to get to
see everyone.  We had our
"Thanksgiving Dinner" while we were in the
Upstate.  Yes, Fatz did have Turkey with all
the trimmings and it was out of this world.

Then we took off back to the hotel where
Trammell and I were BLESSED to get a
FULL NIGHT OF SLEEP!
Night # 84 in almost 7 years for me.
PRAISING GOD!

Monday, We spent half the day in Anderson.  Met Amy, a sweet friend who gave us a really cool art easel for David. Then met another dear friend who took us to lunch.
After that we went back to Greenville where we chilled out & has an ice cream before we had to be at Channel 16 around 7:00 for my appearance on Dove Nite Line at 8:00.
Right after we arrived at the Station I received a call from the guy who bought our house.  He told me he would sign our home back over to us if we could come up with $50,000 to reimburse him for the repairs.
In our life before all this happened that wouldn't have been a problem at all.  BUT now, it may as well have been a billion dollars.

We tried to figure out ways to raise the money but in the mean time we Prayed asking the Lord to show us a sign to let us know if we should try and get the house back and move back home or should we just turn loose and let it go and remain here on the coast.

Well, God showed us a sign In A Big Way.
We returned home Tuesday and
Wednesday afternoon I received a phone call from our Preacher asking me to come to a meeting at the Barefoot Conference Center at 11:00 Thursday.

I arrived at the meeting and met  with 4 committee members including Preacher Clay & his sweet  wife Kim.
They asked me to tell them our entire story.
I told the about our seven year Journey.  Our nightmares and our Hopes and dreams.
They told me that on November 12 at 6:30 to 8:30 there will be a program at the Conference Center honoring the volunteers in our Church and that one of the things our Preacher will focus on will be our family's Journey.  What a Blessing.
They also want to begin helping us pay for our nursing care for David!
This means Trammell & I will get to leave our home more than the 4 hours a week we usually do. (That costs us $40 a week).
What A Blessings!
:)
PLUS they want to help us in the making of our Documentary and the filming of our Show we are trying to get going called LIVING UNDER HOUSE ARREST,
where I go into the homes of others living through our same nightmare and improve there lives as I share God's Grace and Love with them.

Is THAT A SIGN OR WHAT!!

IT'S SO AWESOME WATCHING GOD AT WORK!

WHAT AN AWESOME GOD WE SERVER!

Proverbs 3:5-6
Trust in the Lord with all your heart,
and do not lean on your own understanding.  In all your ways acknowledge Him, and He will make
straight your paths.
